About Jamia Abdullah Bin Masood
Our Charitable Status
Our charity is a non-political and non-profit-making Pakistani registered charity. The charity began in 1994 and was registered in 1994 under Registration No. RJSC/FSD/275. Our work is governed by our constitution (Trust Deed). Some of our aims and objectives are as follows.
Our Statement
We strongly condemn any form of violence against anyone. Islam condemns all forms of violence or terrorism. All creatures and mankind are one great family of God. Islam teaches that all humans are one great family of God, regardless of different religious beliefs, nationality or race. They should love and protect each other. They should not hate, persecute, torture and kill each other. All religions teach that human life is sacred. God is Kind and Merciful and commands that we should also be kind and merciful to His creatures. Anyone that claims to be a believer and worshiper of God can not be a true believer until he shows kindness to their fellow human beings and His creatures. All seekers of God will surely find Him close to the suffering hearts of the destitute.
All human beings, according to Islam, have been created by one and the same God, and for this reason, they belong to one great brotherhood. All being descendants of the same progenitor, Adam and Eve, they should naturally be each other’s well-wishers. They must willingly come to one another’s assistance, like members of the same large family. Islam has, therefore, laid the greatest of emphasis on the support of destitute and disabled members of society. It is a sacred duty of the wealthy to give part of their possessions to fulfill the needs of the deprived sections of the community. Our work is to fulfil the physical and spiritual needs of this section of the community. May Allah accept our noble efforts, Ameen.
Introduction
Jamia Abdullah Bin Masood is a premier Residential Islamic Girls & Boys Institute in Pakistan, founded in the year 1994 by the late Hazrat Moulana Abdur Rahman R.A. - (Ameer of the Ulaama Tablighi Jamaat Markaz in Raivind - Pakistan) who passed away on the 11.06.2001. He was a very pious person and well known for his piety. There have been reports that a pleasant fragrance & scent have been emitted from his grave for some time after his demise. Since his sad demise, the Jamia has been run by his son Mufti Hifzur Rahman Binori and his brothers. The Boys Section runs under the name of "Jamia Abdullah Bin Masood" and the Girls section "Jamia Abdullah Bin Masood Taleemul Banaat".
At present, the Institute has a total of 450 girls and boys students on roll. Out of this figure, 200 boys and 50 girls are receiving education as boarders, i.e. they are staying in the hostel (provided by the Institute). Most students are orphans or belong to poor families in neighbouring states or areas. The entire expense is borne by the Jamia. Thanks to the contributions it receives from its well-wishers. It would be pertinent to add here that the Jamia does not take any donations or aid from the Government of Pakistan.
The influence of the modern secular Educational System is posing a great threat to our Islamic values, particularly for the girls; therefore, the primary objective of the Jamia is to create an environment that is conducive to the conservation of Islamic values and to the retention of religious identity for Muslim girls and boys.
Eventually, I hope that Insha-Allah the Jamia Abdullah Bin Masood will succeed in achieving its objectives.
Signed: Mufti Hifzur Rahman Binori (Mohtamim / Principal)
